- Each Anasazi
Creation is
One of a Kind and an
Original
The Indian
people,
the pots, ladders,
turkeys, rabbits,
cattails, matates,
manos, trees, etc.
were all handcrafted,
painted and assembled
by Claudia
- Each Mesa
Village is
named and numbered.
What's in
the name?
The naming of each piece
is as unique as the piece
itself. A piece can only be
named after its completion.
One must be able to connect
- personally
with a diorama's
warmth and personality
before it can be named.
Claudia's dioramas are
alive with history and culture,
then she names each
creation accordingly.
What is
the number?
The first digit is the year
the piece was created.
The last two digits,
designates the number
that was created in that year.
Number 703 was
created in 2007 and
was the third diorama
created in 2007.
- Claudia
has a personal
closeness to the Anasazi
people and culture.
Claudia has excavated
her privately owned
Anasazi ruins since 1983.
She knows how the
Anasazi lived, built their
homes, made their
beautiful pots ,and has
a deep love and respect
of these Great People
who we call the "Anasazi"
The rock
was chosen
and collected from the
land of the Anasazi .
"I truly love the Anasazi!"
